Kulba Coach Assessing Draw with Bataih

Kulba coach, Iraqi Ghazi Shamri, confirmed that his team aspired to win against Bataih in the match that brought them together on Saturday at Khalid bin Mohammed Stadium in Sharjah, as part of the 21st round of the ADNOC Pro League. However, he considered the 2-2 draw result to be fair for both teams. Shamri said during the press conference after the match that Bataih presented a good level, pointing out that the individual errors that occurred during the match came as a result of psychological pressure on the players. He added: "Despite the difficulty of the match for both teams, my team managed to come out with a draw result and earn a point that raised our total to 22 points." Kulba's coach thanked his players for the effort they made, confirming that facing a team competing for relegation, like Bataih, is difficult, noting that the errors that caused the opponent's goals were a result of the pressure, despite the good technical performance the team presented. On his part, Bataih coach, Iranian Farhad Majdi, affirmed his full confidence in his team's remaining in the ADNOC Pro League, stressing that the team has a good group of players, but it lacks some luck. Majdi said during the press conference: "I am 100% confident of the team's staying, and I have previously confirmed that we will end the season in a better position, due to my great confidence in the players." He explained that the team has suffered since the beginning of the season from a problem in the offensive line, which worsened after the departure of Cameroonian striker Anatole Bertrand, pointing out that the club signed the French striker Sekouliga coming from Kulba, but he was unable to participate in the match due to a clause in the loan contract that prevents him from playing against his former team. Bataih's coach stressed the importance of focusing in the upcoming matches to improve results and ensure staying in the professional league.
