Winners were announced in several categories.


Date Grading and Packaging Competitions Conclude at Dhafra Festival

The date grading and packaging competitions, part of the final leg of the 19th Dhafra Festival, concluded in Zayed City, Al Dhafra region, organized by the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture & Heritage. These competitions are among the most prominent events of the festival, embodying both heritage and economic dimensions that reflect the status of the palm tree in Emirati culture and its historical role as a source of food and sustainability. The contests aim to encourage farmers to innovate in production and packaging methods, and to focus on the added value of local agricultural products. The event saw strong participation from farmers and date producers across the country, who presented high-quality local date samples in both grading and packaging categories, striving to showcase the quality of Emirati products and elevate their presentation standards. In the date packaging competition, the organizing committee announced the final results, with first place going to Mohamed Qamad Rashid Al Mansoori, second to Mubarak Salem Jaber Al Mansoori, and third to Bakheet Ahmed Hamad Al Mansoori. Fourth place was secured by Seif Ali Saber Al Mazrouei, fifth by Mubarak Ahmed Hamad Al Mansoori, sixth by Mohamed Juma Salem Al Mazrouei, seventh by Khameesa Eisa Fares Saeed Al Mazrouei, eighth by Rashid Hamad Musbah Fares Al Shamsi, ninth by Mohamed Khalfan Mohamed Suhail, and tenth by Latifa Suhail Naif Al Amiri. All participants adhered to the conditions set by the organizing committee.
