According to the results of a recent study conducted by the consulting firm "Strategies End" in Lebanon, it was established that more than half of women in the country are facing financial difficulties when trying to combine work and home life. According to specialists, this fact may become a reason for the decline of women's psychological state and have a negative impact on all areas of their lives.
The study was conducted during a period of increased demands for work-life balance due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Analyzing the data, experts noted that spending a majority of time at home exacerbates the problem, since women face both increased workloads at work and increasing responsibilities for taking care of home and family members.
Programs aimed at supporting women in business play an important role in addressing this problem. Specialists emphasize the need to increase efforts in ensuring equality of opportunities and support for women so that they can successfully combine their careers and personal lives. As one participant in the study noted: "We must strive to create a work environment that will foster women's career growth and at the same time allow them to dedicate enough time to family and themselves."
