ADP Company reported that private companies added more jobs than expected in January.
Experts suggested a modest increase in the number of jobs in the private sector, but a significantly larger number of vacancies was actually added. According to estimates, about 350,000 new jobs were created in January.
"This is significantly more than we expected," noted the labor market expert.
Almost all sectors reported improvements in the number of additional vacancies, including manufacturing, sales, and services.
