The international large online portal announced Dubizzle, based in the UAE, has officially announced its decision to rebrand and change the brand to OLX. This strategic change is aimed at uniting both platforms to enhance the user experience.
OLX Group, the owner and manager of Dubizzle, stated that this decision was made to simplify user access to a greater variety of goods and services on a single platform. The unique opportunities and resources of both platforms will be combined to ensure a more effective service and meet user needs.
"We are confident that the unification of Dubizzle and OLX under one brand will enhance accessibility to services for our users and open new opportunities for business development," noted an OLX Group representative.
This change will not disrupt the functionality of the platform, and users will be able to continue to use Dubizzle services without any interruptions. Currently, a transition process is underway to renumber the announced categories and modernize some functions.
It should be noted that the transition to the new brand is planned to be completed by the end of the current year.
