UAE Enhances Digital Services for Workers

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) in the UAE has recently made significant advancements in its digital services to improve customer experience and strengthen the country's global position in this domain. In 2024, MOHRE successfully completed over 34 million smart transactions, marking a notable 59% increase from the previous year.

According to MOHRE, the substantial growth in smart transactions can be attributed to the successful implementation of digital solutions and artificial intelligence (AI). These technologies have played a crucial role in reducing paperwork, streamlining processes, and increasing overall efficiency. As a result, both workers and employers can now access MOHRE's services more conveniently and promptly.

MOHRE's smart service ecosystem offers over 100 services online and through a dedicated mobile app, catering to the diverse needs of its users. From work permit applications to labour contract services and dispute resolution assistance, the platform covers a wide array of functionalities aimed at facilitating a smoother operational experience for businesses and ensuring swift service delivery for workers.

This digital transformation aligns seamlessly with the UAE National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031, which aims to position the country as a global hub for AI-driven services. Furthermore, these efforts support the UAE's overarching objective of establishing a world-class labour market characterized by top-notch service standards, accessibility, and security. By prioritizing customer satisfaction and operational excellence, MOHRE is continuously enhancing its services to meet the evolving demands of its stakeholders.
