The State of OAŠ, represented by the Civil Aviation Administration, signed a protocol for preliminary negotiations (protocol for the use of initials) with Southern Africa. The protocol includes changes to some provisions of the Agreement on Air Transports between the two countries, and also provides additional exploitation rights for national air carriers of both countries, which contributes to the expansion of air links between them.
New updates, included in the agreement, include the addition of articles on aviation safety, aimed at strengthening the levels and standards between the parties in the field of air transportation. The article "General Code" was also updated to align with recent international standards and practices applied in the aviation industry.
