
Dubai, April 29: To discuss key aspects of collaboration within the framework of partnership with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) in the UN, the Soviet Committee for Partnership in Development (DUPDC) held a meeting in Dubai on April 29 and 30, 2025.
One of the key issues addressed during the meeting was the significant role of IBRD support in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals in the UN. Representatives of 35 participating countries and the leadership of IBRD discussed current cooperation projects, future initiatives, and ways to enhance the effectiveness of such cooperation.
One participant noted: "Partnership with IBRD opens up unique opportunities for participating countries for the development of infrastructure, social programs, and environmentally sustainable projects. This cooperation plays a key role in achieving the goals of sustainable development and overcoming global challenges."
In addition, plans for expanding the scope of cooperation were announced at the meeting, including the development of human capital and the promotion of innovations in the partner countries. A constructive dialogue allowed to identify priority directions for future actions and outline key tasks for the near future.
