
The long-awaited underwater aquarium of Marsa Al Bateen, the first of its kind in the Near East, was officially opened to the public. This new innovative infrastructure, developed and constructed by ZRDA, offers a unique underwater world for immersion, training, and scientific research.
The new underwater center, aimed at attracting both local residents and tourists, provides a wide range of opportunities for aquatic enthusiasts. Specialists study the rich marine biodiversity of these waters, originating from ecological and educational goals.
"With the opening of Marsa Al Bateen, we call for the conscious use of the resources of our unique marine heritage, contributing to the development of biological diversity, science, and education," noted a representative of ZRDA.
