New Media Academy Launches Content Leaders Program

In early December, the United Arab Emirates launched the first edition of the “Economic Content Leaders” program, organized by the New Media Academy. The sessions ran from December 8 to 25 at the Influencers media hub and were designed to train young professionals in creating digital content that highlights the country’s diverse economic sectors and entrepreneurship.

The program is part of the national campaign “UAE: Capital of Global Entrepreneurship,” launched by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al‑Maktoum. Its goal is to strengthen the UAE’s standing as a worldwide hub for business innovation.

The inaugural cohort included 57 content creators and entrepreneurs from the Emirates and their residents. They received detailed instruction on turning ideas into engaging content, building a strong digital presence, using AI to analyze markets, and developing marketing and brand‑building strategies.

"The Economic Content Leaders program empowers talented creators to turn their ideas into attractive projects and opens new avenues for collaboration with investors and large companies," said New Media Academy director Hussein Attoli.

Participants gained tools for scriptwriting, filming, editing, and publishing, and were also introduced to the UAE’s digital media regulation law.
