Lulu has opened its 270th hypermarket in the Gulf in Kalba, Sharjah. The new 43,000 sq. ft. store offers a wide range of products and strengthens the company's presence in the UAE's retail sector.


Lulu Opens New Hypermarket in Kalba

Lulu has strengthened its presence in the retail sector of the United Arab Emirates by opening a new hypermarket on Al Wahda Street, Kalba, Sharjah, thereby expanding its reach in the city's suburbs. The new hypermarket was officially inaugurated by Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Mazrouei, Director of Kalba Municipality, in the presence of Amna Al Zaabi, Head of the Economic Department in Kalba, Sharjah; Ibrahim Suleiman Al Sharfa, Deputy Head of Kalba Branch, Economic Development Department; and Yusuf Ali Musalliam, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lulu Group, along with several other prominent figures. This branch is the 270th for the Lulu store chain in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. The opening was also attended by Sify Rabawala, CEO of Lulu; Salim M., Global Operations Director at Lulu; and others. Yusuf Ali, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lulu Group, stated: "The new hypermarket reflects Lulu's focus on supporting the community retail sector, while ensuring to provide quality, value, and convenience to its customers." The new hypermarket spans an area of 43,000 square feet and offers a wide range of products including fresh foods, groceries, bakery, fashion, home products, and electronics.
