Trading volumes of stocks on UAE markets during yesterday's session (the first session of the week) amounted to approximately 3.39 billion dirhams, distributed as 1.064 billion dirhams on the Dubai Financial Market and 2.32 billion dirhams on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, following the trading of 1.83 billion shares through the execution of 57,748 transactions. The market capitalization of the listed shares on both markets reached approximately 3.72 trillion dirhams, distributed as 878.16 billion dirhams for Dubai Financial Market shares and 2.949 trillion dirhams for shares listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange. The Dubai Financial Market index closed at 5,288.7 points, while the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange index closed at 9,462.37 points. On the Dubai Financial Market, the companies: Emaar Properties, Emirates NBD, Dubai Islamic Bank, flydubai, and Salik, as well as the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), accounted for 79.54% of the market liquidity at the end of yesterday's trading. According to market data, the total trading value of the six shares amounted to approximately 846.97 million dirhams, while the total trading value on the Dubai Financial Market amounted to 1.064 billion dirhams. In turn, Emaar Properties shares led market activity in terms of liquidity with approximately 466.8 million dirhams, followed by Emirates NBD bank shares in second place with a trading value of 136.82 million dirhams, while Dubai Islamic Bank shares came in third with trading volumes of 77.89 million dirhams. flydubai shares came in fourth with liquidity of approximately 64.04 million dirhams, while Salik company shares came in fifth with a trading value of 53.83 million dirhams, followed by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) shares with trading volumes of 47.57 million dirhams.
