Emirates Continues Limited Flight Operations

Emirates announced it will continue to operate a limited flight schedule following the partial reopening of regional airspace. The airline confirmed it will continue to monitor the situation and adjust its flight schedule accordingly. In a notice published on its website, the airline stated that the safety of its passengers and crew is its top priority and it will not compromise on it. Emirates urged passengers to monitor their flight status even after completing check-in procedures and to check operational updates on its website. It also highlighted the need for passengers to update their details to receive notifications and to check their email for any changes or cancellations to flights before heading to the airport. If travel plans are affected, the airline will make efforts to rebook affected passengers on the nearest available Emirates flight, which applies to most affected tickets, including connecting flights to destinations other than Dubai. Passengers with bookings between February 28 and May 31 have two options: either rebook for an alternative flight to the same destination or to another destination in the same region, by no later than June 15, through the same channel used for the original booking. The second option is to request a refund for the ticket value. For direct bookings with Emirates, this involves filling out a refund form, while for bookings made through a travel agent, passengers should contact their agent. The airline advised completing the rebooking process before requesting a refund, as any unused flights within the same itinerary will be automatically cancelled and their value refunded. Additionally, for bookings made from April 2 onwards, Emirates is offering one free change for all cabin classes. Changes must be made within the ticket's validity period, though fare differences may apply.
