Financial Ministry Announces New Collaboration

The Ministry of Finance announced that in cooperation with the Central Bank of the UAE, a series of commemorative coins will be issued for the 60th anniversary of the founding of the United Arab Emirates. Each coin will have a unique design and reflect significant moments in the country’s history.

One of the featured coins will be dedicated to the establishment of the UAE in 1971, while another will commemorate the national hero Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Another coin will be represented in honor of what is referred to as the 'black gold' of the United Arab Emirates - oil. As officials noted, these coins will become a valuable gift for collectors and historians, and they will also remain in memory of important events for the country.

"We are proud to present this series of commemorative coins, which marks the greatness of our country and its historical significance. Each coin will become a symbol of our national pride and achievements over the past 60 years," the Ministry of Finance stated.
