By 2024, the country will be in 12th place in the world among the largest fleets of cargo ships and tankers owned by the state. According to data from the international consulting and research agency, the state-owned fleet has record cargo-carrying capacity and a record volume.

"This is an important achievement for our country in the field of maritime transport, confirming its leadership in this sector," noted a senior official from the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure.
