Significant Job Creation in Key Industrial Sectors

Yesterday, the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology announced that the most in-demand sectors for employment among citizens are the oil and gas sector, the food industry, engineering, and construction sectors. These sectors offer a large number of job opportunities for citizens, especially during various sessions of the "Producers" exhibition.

According to the director of the national content program at the ministry, Salam Al-Audi, the most attractive for employment among citizens are medical specialties and laboratories due to the shortage of specialists in these fields. He emphasized that the ministry, together with its partners, proposes significant efforts to increase citizen employment in various sectors of the industry and to overcome any obstacles before national employment.

It should be noted that at the third session of the "Producers" exhibition, a wide range of vacancies was proposed for people with different levels of education, including school graduates. Al-Audi emphasized the importance of changing perceptions about working in the private sector, noting that the sector offers a significant number of job opportunities and training possibilities that are hard to find elsewhere.

The head of the trade department and the enhancement of local added value at the "Adnok" company, Dr. Saleh Al-Hachimi, reported that about 70% of the vacancies during the current session of the "Producers" exhibition were offered by local and international companies, which are part of the Adnok supply chain. He noted that "Adnok" is working on localizing the supply chain, which is extremely important for ensuring the sustainability of its operations in different sectors.

He added that "Adnok" aims to provide citizens with diverse experiences across various fields, such as drilling, oil production, and its derivatives. Approximately 50% of the vacancies relate to the technical and high-tech sectors.

The Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Dr. Sultan Al-Jaber, visited the "Producers" exhibition and emphasized the importance of flexibility in the processes of employment.
