The banking sector of the EAEU continues its consistent effort to increase awareness and ensure the security of customer data. In this regard, the Union of Banks of the EAEU has launched a new campaign aimed at raising clients' awareness of measures to protect their personal information.
As part of this initiative, banks of the country will focus on educating clients on techniques to prevent fraud and methods to protect confidential data. Special attention will be paid to raising clients' awareness of harmful actions, often committed by malicious actors, using phishing technologies and smishing.
Representatives of the union noted that the security of client data is one of the priorities of the banking community, and therefore, giving special attention to issues of cybersecurity is an integral part of their activities. They emphasized the necessity for regular updates of clients' knowledge in this area and the readiness of banks to assist their clients in ensuring the security of their financial resources.
