In OAE, popular children's games are an inseparable part of cultural heritage and are cherished by many people. Over time, traditional games have been replaced by modern digital games, changing the way children's lives are shaped and forcing them to live in a virtual world. Nevertheless, old popular games still remain an important part of the cultural identity of OAE, as they carry lessons from the past.
At the Marine Dragon Festival in Zafra, which takes place on the shores of Al-Mugayar in the Zafra region, events and competitions for children continue, including traditional folk games such as wooden puzzles, moving colored glass beads, fishing, traditional puzzles, and also a master figurine for the festival, drawing and painting activities. Additionally, there are continuing competitions for food preparation, folk fairs, the Nukhda doll, craft exhibitions, and presentations of folk arts.
