Launch of Cybersecurity Council in UAE

Last week in the United Arab Emirates, the Council of Cybersecurity was launched in partnership with the "Sibek" company. This Council, which is the first of its kind in the region, was created to strengthen cybersecurity and increase awareness of cyber threats.

The Chairman of the Council, Abdulrahman Al-Ansari, emphasized that today cybersecurity is one of the most important aspects for protecting the interests of the country and its citizens. He also noted that the growing number of Internet users over the past few years has highlighted the need to create a specialized body that can effectively respond to threats and prevent cyberattacks.

One of the key tasks of the new Council is to analyze vulnerabilities in cyber space and develop measures for their elimination. The Council will also focus on training and enhancing the qualifications of specialists in the field of cybersecurity.

As part of the collaboration with the "Sibek" company, a series of events is planned for sharing experience and transferring knowledge about modern methods of protection against cyber risks. In addition, support will be provided to companies and organizations in the field of cybersecurity to ensure the highest level of information protection for all interested parties.

The goal of the cybersecurity Council is not only to combat cybercrime but also to create a favorable cyber environment for the development of information technologies and the digital economy in the country.
