The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) announced that engineer Saeed Al-Suwaidi, permanent representative of the UAE to the organization, was elected a member of the Edward Warner Commission. This is the highest award conferred by the organization for outstanding contributions in the field of international civil aviation. Saeed Al-Suwaidi's selection reaffirms the global recognition of the capabilities and qualifications of Emirati specialists.
"This is a great honor and a great responsibility for me," Al-Suwaidi noted, commenting on his appointment. "I will dedicate all efforts to contribute to the development of civil aviation and assist in achieving international standards in this field."
