The World Expo Dubai organization presented a series of educational programs and interactive workshops developed for children aged six and older, following the release of the second children's book 'Dreamers: We Represent the Future.' These programs were inspired by the stories of six innovators, highlighted in the book for their contribution to creating a more sustainable future.
The experience of history inspired the creation of the lessons, including the story of Dr. Said al-Hasan, founder of Manhath, which works on collecting freshwater from evaporating water and its use for irrigating floating farms; Dr. Haytham Riahi, founder of Circa Biotic, engaged in processing organic waste using mushroom-soldier for producing high-quality protein feed for livestock. The program also features the stories of Jayne Jalafwan, founder of Distant Imagery, working on cultivating 2.5 million seedlings of palm in various parts of the Emirates using innovative drone technology, and Mahi al-Meheri, founder of Mahaya, presenting solutions in the field of agriculture that are accessible to a broad audience.
Also among the program participants are Lamis al-Hashi, vice president of PalmDates, addressing the issue of reducing waste through the creation and production of ecologically clean and bio-organic products based on palm elements, and Maryam al-Hassan, general director of innovations at HydroWind Energy, a producer of innovative devices characterized by simplicity and effectiveness for ensuring clean water supply, increasing energy, and enabling access to it.
