Launch of the 24th Fazza Championship in Marmoom

The 24th Fazza Championship for Yawla kicked off at the Heritage Village in Marmoom with a large audience. Six heritage challenges are included, showcasing Emirati culture.

Within the framework of the traditional competition in "Qal'at al-Maidan" in the Deryvensk village in the Marmum area, the start of the 24th phase of the Fazaa tournament with massive participation of viewers will take place. The competition includes 6 traditional disciplines, with 16 participants having passed intensive training before the event. The first stage was completed with a victory by Zaid Ahmed Al-Meri, who took first place with a score of '100', followed by Abdallah Nabil Al-Flasi, who took second place with a result of '55' and also progressed to the next stage of the competition. The organization confirmed 6 disciplines in the Fazaa tournament, among which the most significant is the discipline with a score of '25 points', followed by disciplines in archery, swimming, and shooting, each of them was scored '15 points', then the discipline on the art of fishing got '10 points' and the race on camels got '20 points'. Participants demonstrated their performance of the song "Zirgham," whose lyrics were written by Abdallah Hamdan ben Dalmak, and the music by Mehd Hamd. For judging, Khalifa ben Sabbaein was responsible, and the broadcasting was organized by Sama Dubai and Radiostancia "First Broadcast". Abdallah ben Dalmak noted that the Hamdan Center for Cultural Heritage aims to reveal the culture of the United Arab Emirates and raise awareness of the historical identity of the country, indicating that the Fazaa tournament represents an opportunity for the youth to foster their artistic skills and preserve the cultural identity of the UAE at the international level.
