The United Arab Emirates continue humanitarian efforts in the Gaza sector through Operation "Great Knight 3", aimed at providing assistance in the critical humanitarian situation on the Gaza planetary area.
The project "Subsidized Bread" supports the operation of 14 bakeries in Khan Yunis and Central Gaza, ensuring the main ingredients and wheat flour for the production and distribution of daily bread among the population and the displaced persons, aiming to ensure food security amid severe wheat shortages.
"This support reflects the directives of His Highness President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to provide assistance to the residents of Gaza amid difficult living conditions and to meet their basic needs," emphasized Hamad Al Neyadi, head of the OAA mission.
He added that the project is part of a broader effort to support families in need and ensure access to critical food supplies. Moreover, Operation "Great Knight 3" focuses on supporting key sectors such as agriculture and healthcare, with the goal of fostering long-term stability in the region.
The operation strengthened humanitarian efforts in Gaza after the cessation of hostilities, prioritizing immediate needs and implementing development projects for enhancing living conditions, consistent with the humanitarian principles of the OAA.
