National hero, Nashmiya Al Fily, experienced a moving journey to prevent her daughter from suffering from the rare Cornelia de Lange syndrome, delivering an uplifting story for mothers around her. She has devoted herself to a cause so fearsome to conquer "the specter of death" that threatened her daughter and to transform it into "beacons of hope," announcing about the awareness and awakening of life in the hearts of parents of children with special needs. She did this based on her long experience and hard-earned knowledge with her daughter, whom she supported with additional testimonies and specialized training, expanding her greater dreams of community service. She did not change her innate passion for art and used it as a mirror of her daughter's reflection and her steadfast maternal love. "The division of this time of our life into the past and the present moments is the essence of the soul of the mother, helping her daughter cope," narrated Nashmiya. "I cared for my daughter as long as I could, always seeking solutions for her health. Thanks to the Almighty, today my daughter celebrates her 27th birthday, going through a long journey in treatment and drawing closer to almost normal life," recalling the tough moments when a doctor communicated to her that her daughter would not live long, and she responded with assurance: "As long as she lives - in the hands of the Almighty."
