Following a deadly attack in the German city of Munich that resulted in the injury of several innocent people, the United Nations expressed its condemnation. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in its statement that the UN strongly condemns such criminal acts and always rejects all forms of violence directed against innocent civilians, undermining security and stability.

The country also expressed its solidarity with the Federal Republic of Germany and its friendly people in connection with this outrageous act, wishing for the swift recovery of all affected.

According to German authorities, a driver ran over a group of people in the city of Munich on Thursday, resulting in a minimum of 20 people injured. The police stated via the social platform "X" that the driver was arrested at the scene and no longer poses a threat.

According to the fire service, at least 20 people were injured, some of whom are in serious condition, according to the German agency DPA. The head of the municipality of Munich, Dieter Reiter, expressed deep shock regarding the incident, adding that among the victims were children.
