
In the Al-Dhafra region, rain started at 9:32 AM, affecting Bu Hasa, Madinat Zayed, and Al-Yalnazar with light to moderate rainfall. Additional reports from the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) at 12:32 PM confirmed minor moderate rain in several areas of Abu Dhabi, including Al-Sut, Muhbirz, Uaid, Asab, Abu Krain, and Ara East Bu Khamra in Al-Dhafra. By 2:48 PM, moderate rain was also observed in additional areas of Al-Dhafra, including Ruwais, Baynunah, and along Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Road towards Al-Sila, and also on Sir Bani Yas Island.
Later in the day, rain returned in Al-Ain at 4:20 PM, especially along Ukaqan Road. At 2:10 AM, minor rain was recorded in Al-Dhafra. At 6:40 AM, minor rain was observed in Al-Sila and Guwaifat in Al-Dhafra, following a similar event on Jebel Hafit Mountain and in Al-Makam in Al-Ain at 6:45 AM.
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) reported that meteorological stations recorded minor moderate rain in various eastern and western regions of the United Arab Emirates, including Abu Dhabi and Fujairah. According to the NCM, rain began at exactly 12:33 AM in Dibba-Fujairah. At the same time, Al-Wahida in the west of the country also recorded minor moderate rain.
Regarding the temperature change this month, the NCM noted that the average temperature of February is higher than the historical norm, reaching 20.1°C. The five highest temperatures recorded yesterday were: Al-Ku'a (Al-Ain) -34.3°C, Hamim -34.2°C, Mizaireh -33.9°C, Lahbab -33.8°C, and Sayh al-Salam -33.6°C.
