
Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Avays, Minister of Health and Prevention of the United Arab Emirates, confirmed that the focus on the health of mothers and children is a top priority among the country's strategic priorities.
To implement this strategy, various measures and programs have been developed aimed at ensuring the health of women during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Special attention is given to supporting breastfeeding and implementing programs to prevent childhood obesity.
"We strive to create a favorable environment for mothers and children, where they will have access to quality medical services and support at all stages," emphasized Al Avays.
Investments in the health of mothers and children are considered a key element of the national development strategy and play an important role in ensuring a sustainable future for the next generations.
