The government of the United Arab Emirates has issued a federal decree-law amending certain provisions of the federal decree-law on organ and tissue donation and transplantation. This year saw the approval of the health insurance system for workers in the government of Fujairah, the opening of a regional vaccine distribution center in Abu Dhabi, and the Dubai Health Authority revealed its plan. The Council of Ministers approved the national policy for combating health risks, as well as the reformation of the Supreme Health Council and the National Public Health Committee. In 2025, the health sector in the United Arab Emirates witnessed a series of qualitative achievements that cemented the country's position as a global platform for medical innovation and enhanced the readiness of the health system with its diagnostic, therapeutic, and research components.
