UAE's Humanitarian Aid to Gaza Promises Relief

The UAE is actively involved in addressing the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip. The country remains dedicated to providing assistance to the Palestinians through various means such as land, sea, and air routes. Over 40,000 tonnes of urgent aid have already been delivered, and the UAE pledges to continue its efforts to ensure the safe and sustainable delivery of aid in collaboration with the United Nations and other international partners.

Recently, twelve trucks carrying 150 tonnes of humanitarian aid successfully entered the Gaza Strip through Erez Crossing and Karam Abu Salem crossing. The aid, distributed in cooperation with the American Near East Refugee Aid (Anera), aims to meet the immediate needs of around 30,000 people in the region. This shipment marks one of the first deliveries to Gaza since October.

Sultan Mohammed Al Shamsi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Development Affairs and International Organisations, highlighted the UAE's unwavering support towards the Palestinians. The continuous provision of humanitarian aid underscores the country's enduring commitment to assisting the people of Gaza during these challenging times.
