The United Arab Emirates has dispatched its 18th aircraft carrying 40 tonnes of medical supplies to Lebanon, part of its ongoing campaign to support the country amid crisis.

The United Arab Emirates continues its support towards Lebanon by sending the 18th aircraft carrying 40 tonnes of medical supplies as part of the 'UAE Stands with Lebanon' campaign. Since October, the UAE has been consistently delivering vital food, medical, and shelter assistance to Lebanon to help alleviate the impact of ongoing conflicts. Collaborating closely with international organizations such as WHO, UNHCR, and IFRC, the UAE aims to aid Lebanon in overcoming the challenges posed by the current situation.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan initiated this campaign with the active involvement of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan ensured the operational management of the mission, highlighting the UAE's dedication to assisting regions affected by conflicts and disasters. The UAE's leadership is committed to positioning the country as a key global provider of support during crises.

By delivering essential supplies not only to the people in Lebanon but also to refugees in Syria, the UAE is further solidifying its commitment to humanitarian aid.
