
Today, during a telephone conversation, the prime minister's deputy and the foreign minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Abdul bin Zaid Al Nahyan, discussed with the Russian Federation's foreign minister Sergey Lavrov current regional events, particularly the situation in Syria and Lebanon. The parties also addressed several issues concerning strategic relations and the all-encompassing partnership of the two friendly countries, especially in the cultural and economic spheres.
"We discussed international and regional issues, including the situation in the Middle East region, as well as the prospects of developing bilateral cooperation, including cultural and economic issues," noted Sheikh Abdul bin Zaid Al Nahyan.
Such interactions between high representatives of both countries underscore the importance of discussing current international issues and seeking common ground for resolving complex problems in the region.
