Individuals with a relationship to the organization of the Olympic Committee of the OAA were gathered to begin the procedure for the election of Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum to the post of president of the Olympic committee.
"These elections are a cornerstone in the activities of the sports community," said a committee member in his comments on the upcoming elections.
During the election procedure, there will be several stages, including the submission of candidacies, discussion of the programs and goals of the candidates, as well as the scheduled final decision on the appointment of the head of the Olympic committee.
