Today, Dr. Anwar Gargash, diplomatic advisor to the President of the UAE, met with Dr. Majid Takht Ravanchi, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on political issues.
The sides discussed relations between the UAE and the Islamic Republic of Iran, highly valuing the recent round of political consultations between the two countries. Both officials emphasized the importance of strengthening mutual interests and explored ways to improve economic and trade relations among neighboring countries.
During the meeting, regional and international events representing common interests were also touched upon. In the discussions, Saif Al-Zabi, UAE Ambassador to Iran, and Reza Ameri, Iranian Ambassador to the UAE, participated.
