UAE Calls for Dialogue in South Asia

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasized the importance of adhering to calls for dialogue and mutual understanding to prevent military escalation, strengthen stability in Southern Asia, and avoid further regional tensions. He confirmed that diplomacy and dialogue remain the most effective means of mitigating crises and achieving common goals leading to peace, stability, and prosperity.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE called on the Republic of India and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to exercise restraint, reduce tensions, and avoid further escalation that could threaten regional and international peace. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan additionally stressed that the UAE will continue its efforts to support all initiatives aimed at achieving peaceful resolutions to regional and international conflicts and mitigating their humanitarian consequences.
