During the current winter transfer window in the Arabian Championship of professional football Dori adnokuk, there have been no significant transfers made so far, although the period will last until February 11. This differs from previous years when winter transfers were always active, as this is the last chance for clubs to update their squads after revealing strong and weak sides during the first stage of the season.
The only exception is the signing of the club Al-Jazira by the defender of the Moroccan Olympic team Ilyas Karim until 2029. At the same time, other clubs in the UAE have not made any transfers so far, although teams like Al-Ain, Al-Wasl, Al-Aruba, Dibba-al-Hisn, and Al-Bataih need to make changes after unsuccessful results.
Committee member on transfers of players of the Professional Football League in the UAE, Yakub Ali, pointed out four reasons for the weak activity in the player market during the winter period. He noted that the main reason is the clubs' expectation to open the transfer window instead of analyzing team needs before the start of the season, considering that clubs have already played many matches since the start of the season.
He also emphasized that the opportunities in the player market in winter are usually limited, as most contracts are signed in June, while in winter, existing player contracts remain active.
