Exciting Matches in UAE First Division League

Recently, matches in the first football league have been anything but uneventful. In the 14th round, five "dramatic" goals were scored in the last minutes of matches, adding extra tension to the encounters. Goals were scored in the opposing team's net by the Emirati team in the 90+6 minute, Khattah (90), Majdhi (82), Glefah (90+2), and Masafata (86). This reflects the growing intrigue in matches within the league.

Summing up the results of the 14th round, it is worth noting the victories of Fujairah over Glefah with a score of 5-1, Zafarah over Masafata 2-1, and Glef UFC over Majdhi also 2-1. Additionally, Emirates drew with United 2-2, as did Khattah with Hamriya 2-2, while Zeyd and Al-Jazira ended without goals.

Fujairah climbed to the top of the rankings with 26 points, sharing first place with Al-Arabi, Al-Zafra, and Khattah, each with 22 points, which makes the fight for two spots in the premier league this season quite competitive.

Hamriya made it to the forefront in the 14th round, ending the winning streak of Khattah, which lasted five matches, making it the longest winning streak in the current season alongside Fujairah. Khattah won against Majdhi 2-0, Zafarah 1-0, Zeyd 3-0, Duba 1-0, and Al-Jazira without goals, while they faced a defeat against Hamriya.

It is worth noting that in the list of top scorers, Sandar Benbushir stands out - the forward of Fujairah, having scored 11 goals, surpassing Dubai's Diego Farias and Al-Arabi's Makhmeda Diopa, each with 9 goals. The leading local scorer is former international forward of Hamriya Ismail al-Hamadi with four goals, followed by Al-Jazeera player Jamal Maaruf with three goals.

The unfortunate team turned out to be Emirates (Sokoly), who lost two valuable points that could potentially improve their competitive standing. It should also be noted that for the first time in the current season, the match between Glefah and Fujairah resulted in two send-offs - received by their junior footballers Anour Susan and the Egyptian Hazem Mohammed.
