The Football Association of the UAE will hold a course for candidates in refereeing at the 2026 World Cup. The training will take place from October 17 to 21. During the course, referees will undergo theoretical and practical training, which will help them prepare for solving complex situations on the field.
One of the members of the refereeing commission expects that participation in this course will raise the professional level of Arab referees. Referees will be evaluated based on various criteria, such as knowledge of the rules of the game, the ability to make quick and correct decisions, and also the ability to work as a team.
As part of the course, trainees will participate in various situational exercises, imitating real situations on the football field. They will be able to practice their analytical skills and decision-making in conditions that closely resemble those they will encounter in matches.
The organizers are confident that this course will help improve the level of Arab referees and prepare them for effective officiating at a high level, including matches of the World Championship.
