Ahmed Ali Shariani, Secretary of the Water Sports Federation of the UAE, has joined the planning committee of the National Olympic Committee of the United Arab Emirates. In other words, he joined an important body responsible for the strategic development of the Olympic movement in the country.
Shariani expressed his pride and joy at the appointment, emphasizing the importance of this role in achieving high sports results and making strategic decisions. I quote his words: "I am deeply convinced that sports play a key role in our society and have great significance for our citizens."
He also expressed hope that his experience and knowledge will help in the development of the sports movement in the UAE and in achieving new heights in Olympic activities.
