The chairman of the Association of Cyclists of OAE Mansur Buaseyba has been elected as a member of the Council of the Asian Federation of Cycling for the period from 2025 to 2029. In addition, he was appointed deputy chairman of the council of the Asian Federation. This took place at the first meeting of the management, which was held on the sidelines of the Asian Championship in road cycling in Thailand from February 7 to 16.
After the meeting, Mansur Buaseyba expressed his joy about the great trust placed in him by the members of the Council of the Asian Federation. He emphasized that this endorsement confirms the success of cycling in the OAE in recent years and the constant achievement of podium finishes. Mansur noted that such a presence will contribute to the development of cycling sports in the OAE through the establishment of partnerships with Asian federations to ensure support for our national teams, as well as for ongoing contact and interaction with Asian federations to monitor the latest trends in the sport.
