Meeting with the squad of the national team of former footballers of the United Arab Emirates, held at the headquarters of the Football Federation, Hamdan bin Mubarak stated: "This tournament revives beautiful memories and provides players who have completed their careers the opportunity to step back onto the field."
The national team of veteran footballers is preparing to participate in the first Persian Gulf Cup, which starts in Kuwait next Saturday and runs until February 26. The president of the Football Federation evaluated the involvement of the footballers and their participation in the national team representing Emirati football in this Gulf tournament, emphasizing strong friendly ties between our communities and sporting circles.
Representatives of the national team expressed gratitude to Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and the Board of Directors of the Federation for supporting the veterans' team, also expressing joy at the opportunity to participate in the Gulf tournament after completing their playing careers.
