The Football Association of the OАЭ has officially submitted an application to host the final stage of the 2031 AFC Cup. The decision was made after the announcement of the Asian Football Confederation regarding the start of accepting applications from national federations wishing to organize the tournament.
It is planned that the Football Association of the OАЭ will prepare a comprehensive application that includes all the necessary requirements for hosting the largest tournament in the Asian region. Details will be announced in the near future.
The OАЭ has already been the host of the tournament twice: in 1996 and 2019, and both organizations were recognized as successful. The OАЭ has successfully held numerous international sporting events, including the Club World Cup, youth world championships, and other major competitions, demonstrating high-quality organization of continental and international competitions held at the country’s stadiums and sports facilities.
