Marua Al Rahma, the deputy chairperson and head of the public initiatives department at First Abu Dhabi Bank, called for the revival of school sports to restore its previous momentum in activities and extracurricular activities. She also emphasized the importance of organizing competitions for students to present them with benefits in physical, skill-based, psychological, and social aspects.
"Support for a healthy lifestyle among youth starts with the family," Marua stressed. She also noted that it's essential to activate partnerships and unite efforts between the institutions of the United Arab Emirates to support the country's sports sector, which has a significant impact on the formation of healthy and balanced generations, protecting them from ailments related to insufficient physical activity, such as diabetes.
