Today it became known that the AAF announced the procedure for local clubs to participate in the Asian Football Association tournaments for the next season. The national team of AAF will take part in the Asian Champions Cup premium class through two direct spots and one through the playoff round.
The first direct spot was taken by the winner of the Professional Clubs League ADNOC for the 2024-2025 season, the second spot went to the winner of the Cup of the Supreme Leader of the country this same season. Through the playoff round, the vice-champion of the ADNOC League and the winner of the Cup of the Supreme Leader will participate in that same season.
Regarding the Asian Champions Cup 2, clubs from AAF received one spot for the third place in the ADNOC League for the 2024-2025 season. The AAF Football Federation confirmed that if the champion of the league becomes the winner of the Cup of the Supreme Leader, then the direct spot will go to the vice-champion of the ADNOC League, and the spot through the playoff round will be for the club in third place. In this case, through the playoff in the Asian Champions Cup 2, a club from the fourth place in the ADNOC League will receive a spot.
