The Football Association of the OAE recently announced the selection of international referee Ibrahim al-Raisi to be part of the officials for the World Beach Soccer Championship, which will take place in 2025 in the Seychelles. A total of 24 referees from six federations will be represented in the overall composition.
Ibrahim al-Raisi has been allowed to officiate at the championship after successfully performing at intercontinental and international levels. He refereed the final of the 2023 AFC Cup and the final match of the 2024 World Beach Soccer Championship, which took place in the OAE. Al-Raisi has also received recognition from the Afghan Football Association in the category of referees during the annual ceremony of awards, which took place in Seoul in October.
