The coach of the football club "Al-Ain", Badr Tabib ash-Shuhhi, confirmed that several factors contributed to the strong return of his team "Sokol" to the first league of football "lovers" in the current season. The team achieved five consecutive victories in the last matches, rising from the last place to sixth in the table. This success has given the team chances to compete for one of two places for promotion to the professional division. The coach asserts that five consecutive wins in a row is not something unusual for a team with such a history and status as "Al-Ain".
The current leader of the "Al-Dhafra" championship has 42 points, followed by "Fujairah" (37), then "Duba" (34), "Al-Arabi" (33), while "Younited" and "Al-Ain" both have 30 points. The coach emphasizes the players' accountability, their defensive protection of the color "Sokol" and the implementation of tactical instructions, as well as support from the club, fans, and other factors that contributed to the team's success.
He pointed out that the team is facing tough and strong matches leading to the end of the season. Therefore, the coaching and management staff is focused on continuing positive results. "We play in order to achieve several significant goals, one of which is to strengthen the technical structure of the team in society with the high status of the club 'Al-Ain' as one of the best teams in the country and the main one in the first league," added Tabib ash-Shuhhi.
Addressing the perspectives of "Sokol", he emphasized that they have eight matches ahead, including against the leaders "Al-Dhafra", "Fujairah", "Duba", and "Younited", which will be crucial for their rise. He noted that "Sokol" will play four strong derbies against their competitors.
Tabib ash-Shuhhi stressed that he returned confidence in the players, as they have significant potential and are among the best in the league. He also conducted a tactical restructuring of the team and reinforced it with three players, stating that working on the psychological state of the players led to improved focus during matches.
