The Kalba football team finished third in the tournament table, earning 37 points, trailing behind the champion and vice-champion, the Bataee and Khurfakan teams, respectively. In total, the team recorded 14 wins, four draws, and three losses, scoring 96 goals with 48 conceded.
The general secretary of the Kalba club, Abdurrakhman Ibrahim al-Darmaki, emphasized that the team deserves higher results in the current season "taking into account the efforts that the club's management has applied and the organization of all conditions for achieving success." He expressed hope that the team's results in the next season will be better, noting the pride of the club for the team's achievements in the championship, despite the absence of victories.
Al-Darmaki highlighted the efforts of the training and administrative staff of the team, players, and also their persistence in presenting a good season. "Our ambition was higher than what was achieved. The players made tremendous efforts, but the tournament was challenging, and the team needed more time since the beginning of the season to avoid difficult matches in the playoffs."
"The tournament for the cup was not easy for the participating teams; the matches were tough and difficult for everyone, so each victory had its value. We pride ourselves in Kalba that the team reached the semifinals and defeated Bataee, a divisional champion, in the first round. We were close to reaching the final but suffered a loss in a tough rematch under challenging conditions."
"The board of directors of the club always follows the results of all teams and players, so all aspects that have occurred throughout the season will be examined to strengthen positive moments and eliminate negatives. I am convinced that we have achieved many positive results, on which we can build in the next season."
"We faced a number of challenges during the season that affected the team's results, among which were injuries to some players and breaks, and these challenges were successfully resolved by the board of directors under the leadership of Rashid al-Kandi."
