In the playoff of the Cup of the President of the UAE for football, seven clubs have already secured this title, and only Al-Fujairah does not have this trophy in its history. Al-Wasl faced Al-Khaleej, repeating the scenario of the previous season when the teams met in the semifinals and Al-Wasl won 4:1.

Al-Jazira will play against Al-Ain, Sharjah will meet Bani Yas, and Ajman will play against Shabab Al-Ahli. In the 1/16 final matches, Al-Jazira defeated Al-Arabi thanks to a goal from Omar Traore, while Al-Ain easily beat Khorfakkan 4:0.

Bani Yas also reached the quarterfinals, defeating Dibba 1:0. Al-Wahda suffered a defeat to Al-Wasl 1:3 and exited the tournament. Al-Nasr lost to Sharjah 0:2.

Shabab Al-Ahli eliminated Dibba Al-Hisn with a score of 2:0 and reached the quarterfinals. Al-Khaleej secured a victory over Al-Bataeh with a score of 3:0, while Ajman defeated Khorfakkan 2:1.

In the 1/16 finals, there were 5 instances of red cards: 3 to players of Dibba, one each to players of Ajman and Al-Bataeh. A total of 20 goals were scored in all matches, with an average of 2.5 goals per match. Three goals were scored from penalties, and one goal was an own goal.
