The Belgian team Soudal-Quick-Step secured victory at the Universal Cycling Federation World Tour for the second time in a row in the 2024 season, after winning in 2023. 20 different riders from the team achieved 81 victories, while rider Tadej Pogačar became the best cyclist in the world for the fourth consecutive time. His outstanding season included wins at the Giro d'Italia and Tour de France, making him the first rider to achieve a double victory in 54 years. Pogačar also added the title of world champion to his palmares, becoming the third rider in history to achieve this. He also won one-day races, including Liège-Bastogne-Liège and Lombardi.
The team's director, Mauro Gianetti, noted: "Achieving first place in the Universal Cycling Federation World Tour ranking for the second consecutive year is a result of the hard work of all team members. We always strive to be the best team in the world, and now it is clear that our efforts are not in vain. This testifies to the support and tradition of our riders, management, and the supporting team and sponsors."
