The DP World Tour announced that the UAE will be the first in the season calendar. The tournament will take place in December this year in Emirates and is one of the most anticipated events in the world of golf.
News has emerged that the tournament has confirmed its dates to be held from December 16 to 19 at the Earth Course of Jumeirah Golf Estates. Grant Wilkson, director of the DP World Tour program, noted: "This tournament has always been a key moment in our tour's calendar, and we are glad to return to the UAE again."
The tournament gathers the best golfers in the world to compete for victory and a prize fund of $9 million. Among the participants will be golfers from the top 50 of the world ranking, which guarantees a fierce battle for the title of champion.
"We are confident that the spectators will be thrilled by the level of competition this year," added Grant Wilkson.
