In the top-10 bombers of the first division of the United Arab Emirates championship, there were footballers from African countries. Out of four African players who made it to this list, 15 goals were scored in six of the last rounds. Following them were players from Europe – three footballers who scored 11 goals each and two Brazilian players with 9 goals. One of the Emirati footballers, Abdulla Al Naimi from the club 'Emirates', stood out as the only local player in the top-10 with three goals. All ten players scored a total of 38 goals.
The best moments in the current season of the amateur championship were recorded by journalists from 'Emirates Today'. Among the top bombers mentioned is Brazilian and Gambian from the team 'Zayed', Lucas Silva and Fussini Jassama, each scoring seven goals. This is a rare case for 'Zayed', uncovering its attacking plans, considering that the team does not fit into the list of the top four in the championship.
The list of best bombers also reflects the high quality of players from football clubs-corporations, in which 10 goals were scored by footballers from these teams. One of them, the Chadian player from 'Gulf FC' Anuar Mohammed, scored four goals.
African players are preferred under the leadership of clubs due to lower financial requirements and high physical fitness. Among the African bombers, the leader is Senegalese Muhammed Diop from 'Al Arabi' with his five goals. Following him are three people with three goals each: Chadian Mohammeed Anuar from 'Gulf FC', Gambian Ibrahim Jing from 'Masafot', and Gambian Fussini Jassama from 'Zayed'.
Among the top-10 bombers this season, three are Europeans, each scoring 11 goals. Among them are Frenchman Sandre Benbicher from 'Fujairah' (5 goals), Irishman Simon Strobridge from 'Gulf United', and Dutchman Kinsy Bromis from 'United' – with three goals each.
The number of Brazilian players transitioning to first division clubs has decreased for several reasons, including the high cost of their contracts and the greed of agents. Two Brazilians managed to make it into the top-10 bombers list: Diego Farias from 'Dubai' with five goals and Lucas Silva from 'Zayed' with four goals.
